I saw this on Wayfair thought it was absolutely adorable. I loved the look on the kitty’s face it looked so much like my tuxedo cat who past away in 2024, after being with us for 17 years. He was a wonderful cat a beloved companion. When I saw this, it brought a few tears to my eyes I had to get it, in memory of him. Ordering on Wayfair is very quick so easy. Shipping was also pretty quick too, although the shipping box was a little damaged when I got it. Luckily the statue box was fine the cat statue didn’t have any issues at all. He looks just like in the description, perhaps a little smaller than I was hoping, but feels like solid wood but very lightweight, nicely painted, well made. His body feels rough, but that’s because it emulates kitty fur. Nothing is sharp, but it may feel jagged to some people. It has a flat bottom, so it will sit on a flat surface without sliding around. Plus it’s not very tall or wide at all. He sits perfectly on a shelf in my display cabinet, next to a picture of my real cat. While the statue’s ‘fur’ isn’t soft long like my cat, he really does look a lot like him. At certain angles, there looks to be a little glint in his eyes, probably due to a little shiny black paint around the bottom of his eyes. And to me, the facial expression of maybe a little annoyed andor expecting kibble or attention kind of look is very much what my cat used to give me all the time too. Lol!
