Looks good in our kitchen. Just installed so have not used chalk to write on it yet. I re-stained the wood shelf to make it a darker color. Really like this board combo. Haven’t hung it yet because we’re still remodeling. The chalkboard is a bit flimsy but it works. The hooks are sturdy and the cork board is perfect for reminder notes or a grocery list. It’s a good size for an entry wall and gives a nice organized look. Overall I would recommend this piece..
