This coat rack pairs well with the matching bench, but like the bench, I am surprised at how lightweight it is. It came fully assembled but appears to be put together with small nailsstaples and the (wood Fake wood) pieces are very thin. I hope that it’s lack of heft doesn’t indicate a lack of quality. Disappointingly, this piece did not come equipped for proper hanging in my opinion. The back had two metal hangers placed at the outside edges of the shelf (see picture) but the shelf is 40” wide so there is no possibility of hitting two wall studs with the placement of those hangers. As you’ll see in the pictures, we decided to mount two wood strips across the back of the piece so that we could drill thru these to the studs. Given how expensive this was, I’d expect a better mounting option. The shelf is also quite distressed as you’ll see from the pictures. Overall, it’s a bit less than I was expecting for the cost, but I really liked the bench and had difficulty finding another matching piece for hanging coats.

This looks great in our laundry mud room. We added hooks on each side to increase the number of items that we could hang.
