This is an ok piece in that its very functional and sturdy however the quality is not as good as i thought it would be. The gold color is painted on and the ends are plastic.

The finish looks NOTHING like the pictures. It is fake, gold plastic, not metal with a gold finish. It looks VERY cheap in person and more of a mustard and brass mixed, flat color. The only nice thing about it is the heavy, smooth stone base.

Arrived with no assembly instructions, and there's no pdf in the product info on wayfair's website. When assembled, it definitely is crooked. I would have returned it, but my kid likes it and I just didn't feel like shopping anymore
