I now feel safe to drink tab water and stop buying bottled water. I wish the tank and carafe were larger so I don’t have to replace as frequently. I choose this one over the tank though, because the carafe was glass. Giving 4 stars for the size

I LOVE this convenient countertop water purifier! It is easy to set up, use, and maintain. From the moment you open the box, there's a large information sheet to assist in successful set up. But the best part about it is the water. When filling the water bin with tap water, the smell of chlorine from our tap is surprisingly overwhelming. I had never really paid attention to our tap's chlorine odors before this. But, when the purified water comes out of the AquaTru, it is odorless and tastes clean and pure. I don't know if this is coincidental, but I have also felt more energetic and have slept more soundly since beginning to drink only this purified water. Recently, there was a an article about the ridiculously high level of PFA's and microplastics in our local water supply. I'm grateful that the AquaTru virtually eliminates or at least significantly reduces our exposure to these toxicities. Compared to other countertop purifiers, I decided to buy this AquaTru model because it has 3 separate filters, rather than 1 filter to perform multiple filtration functions. In my estimation, and from other reviews I read, the lifespan and efficacy of each of the 3 AquaTru filters will outperform the smaller single filters in other water purifiers, resulting in cleaner water at a lower cost. So, although the AquaTru is not the lowest (initial) priced water purifier on the market, factoring in costs of replacement filters, I anticipate that AquaTru will cost less over time than other initially lower cost brands that use a multi-filter approach with only a single filter requiring much more frequent replacements. Overall, for the health benefits, ease of use, and comparatively lower investment costs than other brands, I highly recommend this exceptional AquaTru Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier, that very conveniently sits atop a countertop (without the need of an expensive plumber for installation).

Not working

I love that I am able to clean the water and the footprint is not too bad on our small counter. However, I do feel like we have to refill constantly because of the amount of "waste" that has to be dumped every time we refill. The main issue I have with this is that the suction on the bottom can get sticky, which means I am wrestling to pull the tank off and if water gets in there it's also a little difficult to whittle it back on. But overall very happy with it.

My son and I feel good about drinking the tap water. We don't need to buy bottled water anymore.
