Garde-manger H 71 po

I love the look of this cabinet. It takes me back in time. It is very vintage, victorian, boho, and early american all in one. The metal on the front door really makes this special. The matching drawer and door hardware is beautiful. The description states that the metal is silver but it is not. It is definitely gold or brass. This piece is two toned. The sides are black wood tone. The doors and drawer a really pretty reddish wood finish. The scalloped glass doors are very elegant and perfect for displaying favorite items or storing dishes. There are three shelves inside plus a roomy drawer. Really like the four scalloped legs at the base. The size is great for my space. You do have to have time and patience to assemble this. There are detailed instructions but some knowledge of furniture assembly would be helpful. But pictured is how much damage there was to this item when it came out of the box. The box was not banged up at all. The glass in the doors was undamaged and everything was packed pretty well. It is almost as if the drawer and doors were like this straight from the warehouse, but maybe not??? The finish is scuffed on the drawer front and doors. There are several cracks and chips on those areas as well. The base and hardware is in great shape. I ahave attempted several times over the last few days to report this item as damaged on the website but I am unable to upload the photos on my phone, pc, and two different browsers although the photos upload here. I will have to contact customer service by phone I guess. I am very frustrated. I will update when I hear something. I need two doors and a drawer front and I would definitely change my two star to a five star. I received the replacement parts box. In fact I was sent a whole new cabinet. The process was pleasant enough and prompt. I just unboxed the huge item and retrieved the doors. They are in perfect condition. Guess what there is no drawer front to replace the damaged one! I will report this but I only want that part. This is a huge bulky item and a lot of work. I can see a problem once but this is one too many times. I caution ordering this item.
