[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bayou classic 12 x 5 inch a duty cast iron cornbread pan is so cute. It’s cast iron so it is a tad heavy.. the molds are so cute. I love making my cornbread in this pan. It taste amazing in the molds make cute little corn bread. Easy to clean with just water. Extremely durable and affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever the grands come over, the first thing they ask for is cornbread. I grew tired of baking a full 9x13 casserole dish of cornbread and was looking for something that I could make snack cornbread for the kids. This fit the bill. Now I bake up some cornbread fingers and fill up a ziplock baggie. I leave those on the kitchen counter and the kids can grab one whenever they have a cornbread craving. First, it arrives preseasoned. No need to go through that process. This is a very solid, heavy cast iron dish. For my first try at making the "snacks", all I did was grease the unit with butter and add the batter. The cornbread fingers came out perfectly and did not stick to the cast iron, which surprised me a bit. The folks for Bayou Classic included a manual with the product. It included helpful information on how to clean, reseason and bake with it. For example, one tip was to preheat the unit before adding the batter. This makes for a more timely bake time. I am very pleased with the product and happily recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Bayou Classic cast iron corn bread sticks pans is amazing. I grew up eating these at my grandmothers and to now have them at home anytime I want is awesome. The cast iron did need to be seasoned to ensure the best results when cooking but once seasoned the pan has been everything I hoped and more. The quality Bayou Classic delivers is fantastic and care and cleaning are super easy. I would recommend Bayou Classic cornbread stick pan to anyone wanting crispy delicious cornbread. Cast Iron is definitely the way to go. Remember the pans are heavy and don’t go in the dishwasher but the clean up in the sink is super easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is heavy! So make sure to never get into a fight while holding it. Use lots of butter so it doesn’t stick. This pan is perfect for our family with just the right amount spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up to make brownies in,works very very well but you really should pre heat it before pouring any batter in as it takes a bit longer on the cook time if not, say the recipe calls for 7-10 mins you are looking at more like 9-12 mins or so, other than that very well made, very heavy and hey its cast iron, be sure to properly pre season it before cooking anything and then keep it oiled so that it wont rust in storage.
