A real conversation piece as every guest we’ve had over loves watching us make coffee with this Bodum siphon coffee maker. On top of that, one of the most enjoyable cups of coffee we’ve ever had, always receive complements on that as well. I’m a huge fan, highly recommend.

This is a great coffee machine; good construction; beautiful. If you enjoy making coffee as well as drinking it, this is a true entertainer.

Truly, this is the only way to drink coffee and enjoy fresh ground beans. The chain can be a bit of a challenge to attach to the glass siphoning tube but it's easily mastered as well.

I’m returning this item as it made a horrible pot of coffee! Very disappointed

This pot makes REALLY the best cup of coffee I've brewed in a long time. That being said, the coffee does get about half-way stuck in the top half the time, and doesn't pour completely back into the pot once the brew cycle is complete. This could be user error though. Maybe I haven't gotten my grind just right, but when it does brew properly, it's a perfect cup of coffee. I've found a quick way to "dislodge" the stuck coffee by hitting the start button again, then it quickly boils again and is drawn back to the top. Then I just hit "off" and it usually all pours back to the bottom correctly. I guess time will tell as to if I get the method just right with the grind size. You also have to make sure the top portion of the pot is firmly seated into the bottom carafe. All in all, a relly neat coffee pot that makes EXCELLENT tasting coffee. So rich and no bitterness. I love it just black with nothing added.
