Brabantia Make & Take Lunch Box, Large - Matte Steel

Despite it being a lovely-seeming thing, which I believe will outlast the guarantee, i cannot give it more than 4 stars, given the absurd amount of plastic in the packaging; people are going to wash such objects before using them; I may be a little extreme, but I would be happy with it wrapped in old newspaper; but even bamboo paper or recycled paper, which will anyway help absorb any ambient moisture............... Please.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good quality box but I have to admit I’d have preferred it to be a little deeper. Does the job but I think I’d rather stick to something that I can use in the microwave, this is a metal box and so you’re unable to do this which is a shame.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality metal lunch box, it has a divider which makes it very useful to divide food into smaller sections. It also keeps food nice and cold since it’s made from metal! Just pointing out that obviously you can’t reheat it in the microwave but it’s an excellent storage container.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a very solid lunch box. It's a very sturdy steel construction and I have no doubt it would last for years. It's a really nice size if you wanted to pack up quite a bit a of food. For reference I think you could easily fit an entire portion of take away in one. However, I have found the clip mechanisms quite clumsy and I've as struggled a few times to get it to line up properly. It does get easier with use, but you have to angle the lid just right to get it to nip together. I'm also not a huge fan of the finish as it shows every single fingerprint and scratch. I literally removed the packaging and just by handling it, looked well worn.
