The plastic Brentwood that I replaced boiled water super fast. I found out it was 1,000 watt. This Stainless Brentwood is 600 watt. Therefore is is quite a bit slower bringing water to boil (12 minutes) but it is a quality hotpot. Very durable and nice looking. Good possibility it will last longer than the plastic one! Also the stainless is better for you!

Just what I needed. Auto shut off when done/no boil dry function. Nice size and quality. Easy to clean and serve.
