A well made grill griddle. It's indeed thick steel, but it does warp slightly even when gently heated: not a problem because it recovers when slowly cooled. The surface is slightly rough, should smooth out with multiple seasoning layers. Funny instructions for doing so call for "a thick layer of kosher salt and a HALF-INCH of cooking oil" (emphasis mine, where 1/2 mm was probably meant). To avoid warping, "Do not use it on STOVE" (this is for grills only).
