What a wonderful surprise! I already knew this dinnerware set would look nice but the pictures did not do it justice. When I opened the box and removed the first piece I was afraid the description had been wrong. I was expecting melamine dishes but these were so heavy and nicely made that I had to double check to see if I had gotten ceramic ware by mistake. These are heavy pieces and not the lightweight plastic I used to have. Each of the three pieces are on the large side. The dinner plate is 11”, the salad plate is 9-14” and the bowl is 7-12”. I put them through the dishwasher before putting them in my cabinet and they came through beautifully. I am very happy with these and would definitely recommend!
