These are the cutest, most lively bowls! They're big enough for an entree-sized salad (remember Elaine on Seinfeld and her "big salad?"), a bowl of pasta, or any manner of lunch or dinner bowl. There are 6 bowls, and pairs of them have similar colors but not *quite* the same patterns, both on top and bottom. So there are essentially 3 pairs of bowls, but all 6 bowls complement each other and are clearly a set. I'll try to show you what I mean in the photos. I got these intending to give them as a gift to a 20something couple, but my husband said they were so cool he might want to keep them for us. Thought: Since they are *sort of* in pairs, you could easily keep a pair and give 4 away (or vice versa). Win-win, however you do it. I will note that the bowls come well packaged (no breakage), but not in a giftable box. See my photo. So you'll probably want to rewrap them if you're giving as a gift. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning.

These generous pasta bowls are visually appealing and add interest to my white dishes.
