Very beautiful set! Not quite as “white” as I was expecting, it’s more of a grayish off white. The band around the dishes are sort of a grayish-beige. The plates aren’t bulky, and they fit perfectly in the dishwasher. The bowls don’t fit quite as easily in dishwasher, but most bowls don’t. I ordered 3 sets, and out of all of them only 1 bowl came chipped. I’ve already contacted the manufacturer, and they are in the process of replacing it. This set was exactly what I needed to replace my old dinnerware and so far customer service has been great.

It is a beautiful set and the coffee mugs good size but they are not pure white. I knew there was a contrasting border, but it makes plates look like there’s a very light gray is tinge to them. It’s noticeable when you put it next to other things that are pure white. I have to return them because of this. I have very white serveware, and these won’t look well with it.

Beautiful but shiny not matte finish in case you were having a hard time telling from the pictures.

The dishes are beautiul and works well with our decor. However, sometimes the trim looks beige (putty color) and sometimes it actually looks gray like it's supposed to. We bought 12 place settings, and considering all the pieces, only a few arrived broken. They were replaced quickly with no hassle.
