Both grind well, and it's easier to find salt that works with this grinder than other grinders that have trouble with crystals that aren't just the right size. Only problem is that the S and P on the top are barely legible to the naked eye, so you sometimes get the wrong one.

Produces nicely ground salt and pepper and looks nice on the table.

Very difficult to grind.
