Beautiful piece. One side for meat carving and juice flow. The other side a regular cutting board. Gorgeous grain and color.

Grooves on top of board are pointless. Makes life miserable when chopping. Also mine arrived damaged

Beautiful and functional cutting board. One side with the grooves for capturing juices and the other side smooth for cutting and chopping. Applied a coat of grape seed oil to really bring out the grain (and protect the wood).

I have been looking for a board like this for 20 years! I bought one last year for the large size, juice channels and well. Other boards have a small channel around the board and when slicing large meats out of the the smokers, grill or oven like Prime rib roasts, turkeys, hams and such, juices would run out of those and all over the counter and floor! Not so with this board, the large channels hold stuff for slicing and the well contains the juice where it belongs! Loved mine so much I bought 2 more this Christmas for gifts because these boards are too great not to share the love! I'm also glad they updated their info to show they come pre-seasoned, which I seasoned the three I got not knowing beforehand.
