Horrible item! only had it for 2 weeks. The whistle part broke off, and to top it off I called Wayfair and the rep, said there's nothing they can do.

Perfect for its purpose but the handle could be a little stronger in that when the water is ready, the handle is a little hot to hold, without a potholder. I live in an apartment with a small kitchen and do not need a teakettle that is really large. Would have loved it even more if it had only been 1 quart but this one works just fine.
