This is a pretty good kettle, it holds a lot of water, whistle is loud enough to hear. Had to take off points because it’s hard to clean the inside (the handle doesn’t move)

Great product and great price

This is such a beautiful tea kettle I really wanted to love it. But the lovely lilac colored paint wears off from the bottom as soon as I start to use it. I've tried two now, and the second one is already completely worn after just a few weeks. It looks like it's a decade old and the paint has kind of melted off to reveal the silver beneath. I thought I would just live with it, but it keeps getting worse and now even the silver seems to be coming off are brown streaks and small brown spots all over the area nearest the heat source. I donated the first one when they sent the second, and now I feel bad about that, knowing somebody probably bought it from Goodwill.

I love the capacity and the open and close features. I’m confident that I’ll get many years of use out of my new tea kettle!!
