So far I love this cast iron skillet! Normally we don't cook any meats in our frying pans because it sticks and smokes and generally turns catastrophic. (Just me? Cool.) In any case this pan was easy to "season" and cleans up really easily. It gives such a nice flavour to steak and chicken. :)

It is very small and flat! I don’t know if I got the right item as mine looks more like a pancake skillet!!!

I didn't use it right away, which was a mistake. By the time I noticed the defect, the time to return the item had expired. Lesson learned, check purchases immediately after arrival. I purchased the 5.5 inch. It came with a small hole on the side of the pan near the bottom so I couldn't use it as I should because oil or any other liquid would leak out. I attempted to use it a few times to get my monies worth, but unlike other pre-seasoned pans, this one rusted right away after first use, and after every other use, despite me seasoning it, again and again :-(
