The whistle works very well,it’s had no chips or broken scarred. The packaging was great. I advise you ,this is a really great tea. Kettle this is the one.

I’m glad you asked my opinion on this teapot. I believe the Cuisinart tea pot is well made but poorly designed. The trigger to open the spout is too far forward and too close to the spout when you’re trying to pour steaming hot water out of it. Naturally, the handle and your hand get uncomfortably hot. To exacerbate the issue, you have to twist your wrist to the awkward, forward position it takes for the water to come out because the spout is so high up the side of the kettle. That places your hand almost directly over the place the hot water is coming out.

O got this great te kettle in black and its perfect size and heats up quick .
