Spent too much money on this, for it to be such a poor design. Any type of paper - towel you put on it immediately unravels after each tear. There is nothing to grasp the paper towel, and the stand works more like a presenter of the towel roll unraveling with every use. SO frustrating, and I have had 5 people make comments about it.

I was very happy to find a truly traditional paper towel holder. It really does look like a large candlestick! Though somewhat pricey, the Wayfair price was the best that I found, after looking at several other sites.
