Vraiment très satisfait!

I love this silverware set — they're very comfortable to use and I find them incredibly chic while maintaining an originality thats timeless. Also, if you're wondering if you'll use the tiny spoons, we might just use those as much as the forks!

This is beautiful flatware from France. We thought we might have some trouble adjusting to the European length but it has been a snap. Actually, in very short order we prefer it. The utensils are long and lean (except for that small spoon which is short and lean) and have a good feel and balance to them. Someone somewhere stated that the knife feels a bit hollow and I agree with that. I don’t think this is forged flatware however, it is still substantial enough that it feels elegant and not cheap. On the small spoon, you almost have to try it to believe that you’ll find it to be perfectly fine. I had my doubts but once again, it’s quite comfortable and practical to use in my opinion due to the size of the bowl of the spoon. I’m sure everyone is different but I am far more content with it than I thought I’d be. If you’re wondering why I’d buy flatware about which I had several reservations in the first place, it was mostly because it’s made in France rather than Asia. Not to say there isn’t anything of quality coming out of Asia, but I have long held concerns about metals and how they’re manufactured. I wanted something of French, Italian, or German origin or perhaps something from Scandinavia. Before buying two of these sets I bought two sets that were manufactured in Indonesia and was unhappy with how flimsy they felt. And they were not much less expensive than the DeGrenne. So I returned them and bought two of these sets, happy to have service for 12, and the fork is so nice I don’t miss the salad fork at all.
