Lid is way smaller than the pot. Poor fit and QC

I’m so happy to finally have a saucier in my collection now and could not be happier than with it being a Demeyere Atlantis

Beautiful pot. Heats evenly and cleans easily. Like others, the lid is a bit of a disappointment, but not enough to warrant a lower rating. My assumption is that the people at Demeyere know what they're doing, and that a saucier lid should not be tight fitting. I purposely ordered the larger version so I could use it for more than sauces and custards, but now intend to purchase the smaller saucier (when my budget allows), as this one is a tad unwieldy for smaller quantities.

Absolutely beautiful! Best for induction cooking!
