I usually use it for soup and it is very good for it. Nice color sets. I use it daily. Goes very well with other sets.

Update: Absolutely beautiful, but too heavy. Had to send them back and switch to a porcelain set. Love these. I've been eying the Studio Blue series for a couple of years. These bowls were on sale, and I figured that would be a good way to try them out without investing in a whole set. They are just as beautiful as I hoped, not too heavy or light, and I am pleased that they are not made in a sweatshop.

Fantastic bowls - we used them right away and are likely to get a second set.
