Ok. thought it would be a little heavier but it seemed to work.

I have yet to actually bake with these but at first glance they are not what I expected. Number 1, they are a bit light-weight. I am not sure how well this will hold down the crust. Number 2, they do not lay out flat very easily without some work, and I think that will make it not work as well as it could. I will update when I have actually tried it for baking.

I baked a pie crust and was disappointed when the edges slumped and my pie looked all wonky, so I decided to try weights since that is what the Food Network recommended. They were very easy to use and my pie crusts now turn out perfectly each time. They clean up easily as well.

A great tool to take your pies to the next level. Not quite as big as I imagined but it still does the job. These can be tricky to clean by hand if you don’t have a dishwasher. It is also slight goofy to store, so I store mine in between my pie pans.

These seem to be exactly as described. A simple idea, but something nice to have on hand if you bake and aren’t the kind to keep dry beans in the house. For context, the string of pie weights is very flexible and can be formed to fit a few different size pie or tart tins.
