Thermomètre numérique à surface infrarouge et sonde pliante

I got this 2 in 1 digital thermometer for BBQ season. It is supposed to do infrared surface temperature and has a probe to red internal temperature. It feels like a sturdy thermometer. It also does include to specialty batteries. But I gave it a rating of three stars because I have been unable to use it. The battery compartment has a special screw . I don’t have the tool to open it so I have not been able to put the battery in. I don’t plan to return the item however I think a family member has the special tool and we can try it out. We have been wanting this kind of thermometer for awhile.

We really love this digital thermometer. My husband did use it. I was not home so unable to take the picture. He said it is so easy to use and we love the larger easy to read numbers. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who is interested in purchasing a food thermometer.

I am not going to give this 5 stars because placing the batteries was a bit of a chore and I had to work harder than I should have to get the cover back on. On the plus side, I can use this in two ways, as a regular probe and infrared. The digital display is nice and bright which makes it easy to read.

Ok so turn on the device you pull the metal rod out and it turns it on, however, first figure out that there are batteries in the box that you gotta put in there first. Took me a while to figure that out. I haven’t figured out how to use the infrared but the thermometer part itself works really cool. I would recommend.

According to the item description, this digital thermometer should have came with batteries, but for some reason mine did not. I do like the large display showing the temperature. It took me awhile to figure out that you have to close the probe to shut it off as I didn't see anywhere in the directions stating how to turn it off other than it has an auto shut off after 3 minutes.
