[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives feel light on the hands but yet sturdy enough keep good control. I’ve placed them on the dishwasher (top rack) and they have held up just fine. These knives are good for every simple meals, I’d recommend.

Straight out of the box, both blades were razor sharp, no need to hone before use. The 6” chefs knife and 7” santoku have a great weight balance, light enough that my wife (who deals with a chronic illness affecting her grip and stamina) can use them comfortably without her hands fatiguing halfway through prep. That smaller chefs knife size in particular made a real difference for her. The included sheaths are a nice touch. They keep the blades protected in the drawer and make the set feel safer to store than our old knives ever were. Hands are comfortable, wood pattern, grip feels secure even with wet hands. The Santos scalloped edge kept potato slices from sticking to the blade. Simple, no-fuss upgrade from our old set. Would recommend for anyone needing a reliable, light weight reversal knife set, especially of grip strength or hand fatigue is a factor for you or someone you’re buying for.

I also like the overall aesthetic of the knives. The wooden handles and blade sheaths are an added bonus in the safety and aesthetic category! They aren’t too heavy, feel comfortable in my hands, and make a cutting job easy! Did I mention that they are sharp! This is a great set! I highly recommend!
