I love the tea kettle, but the whistle is so soft that I can’t hear it.

I like it a lot but the whistle is not something I expected. It hummms so if you are in another room or the TV is on, you’ll likely won’t hear it so make sure you pay attention . Water temperature remains hot even after an hour but make sure the lid of the spout is closed, and that is something I like about as I am a tea drinker.

I love my new kettle, it’s everything I was looking for. Stainless steel, beautiful design, takes a good amount of water, wood handle that moves to poor the water in comfortably and doesn’t get too hot, and lastly and most importantly it whistles. You just have to remember to open the spout lid manually before pouring the hot water. So if you are looking for a classic design this is a great option.

Beautiful little tea kettle. The whistle ... more like a hum ... is in the lid. Once the lid is flipped back, it has a nice, dripless spout. Plus, it looks great sitting on the stove!
