It is an excellent springform pan!!!!!!!! I recommend Frieling to anyone in need of a Springform Pan!!!!!!! It is truly like no other!!!!!!!! The glass bottom assures that your cakes do not become darkened under the bottom , just golden brown. The next big plus are the handles!!!!!!!!! What a great feature!!!!!!!!!!!!! The helper handles are a truly awesome benefit!!!!!!!! I was in a car accident, a number of years ago, sustaining nerve damage to my upper right arm. I am right handed. This resulted in surgery to repair the nerve, and this left me with ongoing pain, cramping and weakness in this hand, even after all the physical therapy regimens. So, when shopping for cookware and bakeware, I search for and prefer those that have helper handles. I was sooo happy to find this pan!!!!!
