Very lightweight, cheap set of silverware. The box the silverware came in was nice and neat and looked brand new, but when I opened it up and took a look at the silverware, it looks like a used set of silverware since most of the pieces were scratched and the little individual bags that they came in were all crumpled up. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I was in desperate need of some silverware for the holidays, so I kept them. I thought Mikasa was a good brand of silverware , but evidently not. Not sure who is at fault at what looks like used silverware - Mikasa or Wayfair. I hadn't ordered anything from Wayfair for quite a few years since the last thing I got from them was not packaged well. I thought I would give them another try, but I don't think I'll be ordering anything else from them.

Box came w/ a gouge in it. It was packed great. No worries. Everything went well from start to finish.

Great set @ good price point. A definite upgrade from my previous set! Seems to be sturdy, but not overly heavy.
