Balance 20 Piece Flatware Set, Service for 4

Love these. So glad I got them! Great hand feeling.

If anyone has concerns about the durability and longevity of this flatware, look at the photo. The spoon on the left is the one from the set I just got on Valentine's Day 2025, the spoon on the right is from the set of Balance that I originally bought 25 years ago in 1999. That's 25 years of use and dishwasher cleaning. The gumbo style spoon bowl shapes are perfect for soup. I've read several reviews that said the tablespoons were too big to put in your mouth when eating soup. Remember, soup is eaten from the side of the spoon, not shoving the whole spoon in your face. Buy Gourmet Settings flatware. You won't regret it. I also have the Strand pattern set which is also 25 years old and still going strong.

I was torn between this set and another nambe set that I had seen at the store. I decided to purchase this one because it has more of a mid century modern design. I love this set more than nambe at half the price! I am very happy with my choice and so is my family. My hubby used the long spoon with his shrimp cocktail and was happy the spoon did not sink down! into the mug. The set washes well in the dishwasher.

This flatware is totally fabulous and completely ergonomic. Wonderfully balanced for the human hand. They are slightly larger than typical flatware, yet the narrow bottoms make for easy insertion into the dishwasher basket. This is a hearty spoon that won’t waste your time because the shape makes sense -you typically eat from the side of the spoon.

This flatware set is incredible luxurious! I was looking for a 1810 flatware set that could catch my eyes( design) with an affordable price then I found this one! Love at the first sight!!! People are complaining about the spoons size, and yes they are a little bigger than the normal sets, but not a big of a deal for me because I use the sides of the spoons and not the whole one to put inside my mouth! )
