Never knew how nice this dehydrator would be. My husband loves it.

It’s Bigger on the Inside I don’t know what sort of advanced technology this is because, like a first time visitor to the TARDIS on Doctor Who, I literally could not believe how much room there was inside this machine. I was able to make 1 lb each of thinly sliced beef jerky and salmon jerky simultaneously. I kept thinking I’d run out of space but I didn’t even use all 8 trays, somehow still making close to 150 individual pieces, all in a machine that’s smaller than my toaster oven and completely quiet. More than that, it was SO easy to use. All you need to do is set the temperature and the time (and I set the time extra long so that I could just pull them out when they were ready and not have to worry about the machine turning off when I wasn’t paying attention). Every piece from the bottom to the top tray came out evenly and perfectly dehydrated. And I’ve literally never even attempted to dehydrate anything before. I got some tips from the gourmia recipe book and a single YouTube video and that was it. I only got the dehydrator because my wife LOVES beef jerky, but it’s so expensive to buy from a store in the quantities she consumes. I was able to make so much jerky that I’m pretty sure I broke even in just my first use. 10/10. Can’t wait to use it regularly to keep my wife stocked up.

I also really appreciate the digital temperature and timer controls, which let you fine tune the settings for different types of food. The glass door is a great feature because it lets you see the progress without having to open the unit and lose heat. It is surprisingly quiet while running, which makes it easy to use at any time of day. Cleanup is simple too, with removable trays and a crumb tray that catches any mess. Everything I have made so far has turned out perfectly, and the whole machine feels sturdy and well made. I definitely recommend it.

Looking forward to experimenting more with it—thinking about herbs, citrus slices, and maybe even yogurt drops. Overall, great first impression, and it feels like a well-designed, functional machine.

The buttons are very hard to push and get to work. Does dry well when you get it started.
