Great corner cabinet. Super easy to put together

I'm seriously impressed with the quality of this cabinet. I expected, based on the price and size, that it would be a bit of a lower quality piece, likely made of the cheap press board, some bare edges, and generally would be indicative of the price point both in appearance and quality. And I was ok with that, as for this piece budget was more important than aesthetics. But boy was I wrong! This cabinet is sturdy, heavy duty, and FAR from a lower quality piece. This is a beautiful, sturdy, well built piece. It is easy to put together (although does take some time), and once complete is durable, sturdy, and looks great. Now I got the darker wood finish, so it appears "rustic", that is the look I wanted. If you are looking for a great looking and well-made corner hutch, look no further. This one checks all those boxes! I will admit, the fit and finish on this cabinet leaves a lot to be desired however. Mounting the top half to the bottom half was insanely challenging. There are I believe 6 dowels and 4 of those post/cam lock joints. The holes for the dowels in the top half do NOT line up with the holes in the bottom half. They were a good 1/4" off to be able to get them to drop down onto the post/cam locks. I ended up removing 2 of the dowels, and unfortunately one of the cam locks started to push out through the outer panel wall. But it didn't crack out, just kind of bowed out. It goes against the wall anyway, but still. Overall beautiful cabinet, but could use some refinement in design/assembly.

Very happy with the size and overall quality. I was worried it might be too big, but I am glad I didn’t go with the smaller sized cabinets as they would not have been deep enough to function as a pantry. A couple of the slanted trim pieces didn’t attach completely even, but that was more due to me having to build it all by myself and not having enough hands. Be ready with a Philips screwdriver and a drill! This doesn’t include any tools and your hands will thank you if you can use a drill as there are A LOT of wood screws. I found it helpful to have surfaces I could prop the pieces up on as I worked. I installed the doors with the cabinet lying down as it was near impossible to do it by myself with it standing up. Pay close attention to the hole count and layout on each piece because it can get tricky and easy to mess up.

What a a beautiful cabinet. It is heavy duty and the color if the wood is so rich. It will go perfectly in my kitchen. Shipping was fast and the price was great. Thank you
