I’m obsessed with the features that make this slow cooker the new staple in our dinner routine. The lid locks securely in place which allows juicy, mouthwatering flavors to develop. The lock lid also makes transporting a breeze and reduces spills. The power cord is significantly longer than most slow cookers and the thermometer probe plugs right into the front of the slow cooker making meat temp checks a breeze. It features a digital interface and has a defrost, low, high, and warm setting. Did I mention it’s dishwasher safe?! The glass lid and stoneware are completely detachable and fit easily into most standard sized dishwashers.

It also comes with a meat thermometer. There is a hole in the top that you simply slide it through and check your food temperature. It also has a low, medium, high and warm setting. It's very easy to clean. It has a place on it where you can even wrap the cord for easier storage. It holds up to 6 quarts too. It has where you can close the lid on both sides with the latches. The food I made turned out perfect. I am getting rid of my old one! This is my new favorite slow cooker. I recommend this Hamilton Beach Ready Set Dinner Slow Cooker.

I love that it’s a good size for smaller meals it doesn’t feel oversized or wasteful but still holds enough for leftovers. I made a super easy shredded chicken taco dinner (just tossed in chicken salsa and seasoning) it came out so juicy and tender it was delicious! Zero effort needed. I love being able to set it and forget it without overcooking as it automatically switches to warm, which is perfect when life gets hectic because as a Mom it literally always is. The temperature probe is great too perfect temp without guessing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Ready, Set, Dinner Slow Cooker by Hamilton Beach. This slow cooker features a lid that clamps to securely loc it in place, temperature probe, touch screen display, delayed cooking and even a defrost option. I made a dish using the defrost option cooking for 8 hours and it worked great. After reading the Manuel it was easy to program and set cook time. The meat turned out really tender. Clean up was easy I just soaked it for a little while and didn’t need to scrub. I look forward to cooking some of my favorite meals in it during the holidays
