The appliance itself is fine, though like some others have noted the interior pot can be difficult to clean if the rice is left too long. The instructions are USELESS. "Measure in rice, add water, turn to cook mode." What is the ratio of rice to water? How long will it cook for? Many varieties of rice cook for different lengths of time.
