Bought this slow cooker to replace another brand I have had for many years that was not heating up to correct temperature. Cooked a chuck roast on low for 8 hours. While preparing ingredients I preheated on high with liquid in bottom then turned to low when everything was in crockery. It was bubbling at the 2 hour mark. At end of cook it was the most tender meat I have made in years. I am very happy and hope to have many more delious meals.

No problems with this at all.p so far. Already used it and it was wonderful. Its not a true red, more pick in it that gives it a dark burgundy colors and its a matte finishe, but its fine.
