The first delivery of this Kenmore griddle arrived with one handle hanging loose, and then coming off altogether, leaving a broken seat for a second screw. Wayfair arranged for a second griddle to be delivered. I cooked pancakes with it this morning, and was pleased that the heat element seemed to be calibrated properly. I picked the griddle up by the handles to put it away in its cupboard, and realized to my surprise that I was gripping a jagged chunk of broken plastic. The second griddle too was broken. Fortunately by that time I had enough parts to make one griddle with two complete handles firmly attached, with the use of a small Phillips screw driver. But really. Nobody at the factory in China can have been inspecting the product as it was packed, the workmanship was careless, and the plastic is of poor quality.

Took me a while to decide which electric griddle to get. It arrived on time. Tried it out to see what I thought and so far I am very happy with my decision. Made pancakes. The heat was very even. All of the pancakes cooked up the same, no matter where they were on the griddle. Clean up was a breeze. The other thing that I really like is that the cord is long enough for where I wanted to use it. I am really hoping it lasts a long time.

Exactly what I was hoping for. The extra descriptions and dimensions on the Wayfair site made it easy to order the right item the first time!
