56 oz Mélangeur thermique NSF - double paroi

We purchased this commercial blender about two years ago. Within the first year, it began leaking, which is not something we would expect from equipment of this grade. To manage the issue, we applied Teflon tape as a temporary fix, but the problem has progressively worsened. The leaking is now more severe, and we’re also seeing rust developing, which raises concerns about both durability and food safety. From what we’ve observed, this does not appear to be an isolated case and seems to be a known issue affecting multiple units. At this point, we would like a clear explanation of the root cause and what permanent solution Kitchen aid can offer.

My blender jar is also leaking, as mentioned in the other reviews. What’s the recommendation. If a replacement jar can be purchased, will it also leak i.e. is the issue a design flaw or a defective production batch.

We usually love our KitchenAid appliances but this is crazy. It looks like the same issue as everyone else here. It's too bad too. I'm just glad we smelled the issue before eating the food with all that gunk in it.

The bearing on the jar has been leaking oil for years. I need to replace the jar model#KSB4031BM
