I purchased a KitchenAid 7 Quart Bowl-Lift about 17 months ago and the whisk started bending out of shape almost immediately, but I continued to use it. The bent shape scraped against the side of the bowl with each use. Recently the prong has come completely out of the head and I have to replace it.

I’ve barely used the whip since I purchased less than a year ago and the tines broke. Having purchased the 8qt commercial in order kneed larger quantities of dough, I was disappointed when learning the machine is not recommended for kneeling at a higher speed than level 2. I resigned to only use it for beating and whisking and purchased an Ankarsrum instead for bread doughs. Now I’m questioning the ‘commercial’ designation given the whisk couldn’t hold up either.

Bought my first kitchenaid couple years ago because it was the appliance to have and when I finally went to use the whisk one of the tines? were broken. Tried to fix it by putting it in the tiny hole hoping it would stay and now 2 of the tines are broken :(. So sad for such an expensive piece

I bought my new 6 qt Kitchenaid after having a 5 qt for 30 years. No problems with older one..just loved the new ones. The whip is useless. Everything goes to the center and doesn't move. I had a ball of butter. Had to use spatula to remove butter ball. Any suggestions?

I have a new KP26M mixer and have only used the elliptical whisk 2 times to make whipped cream. One of the wires came loose, and I cannot get it to reattach, so I cannot use the whisk. Again, this is a brand new mixer, and I am very unhappy with the whisk. I’m sorry I gave away my old Kitchen Aid mixer. It was over 40 years old, and I never had a problem with it.
