The laminate is actually a plus in a laundry room since it’s easy to wipe clean and doesn’t seem like it will show wear as easily as painted surfaces. My husband assembled it without any issues, and it feels sturdy enough for storing all of our laundry essentials. We love this pantry! It was taller than a lot of other ones and that makes the counter height great. It took my partner 5 hours to build, but he did 95 of it himself. I helped put the top piece on and then stabilize doors and pegboard so he could screw them in. He was impressed with how sturdy it all is and how well it all fit together.
