Ensemble de 4 pièces pour gâteau/pâtisserie Signild

I'm heartbroken completely with this experience. WAYFAIR and customer service has been amazing. The flatware has been a huge disappointment. honestly i cried. the box came right away and i was super excited to open it up and see my new flatware in person.... i really do love the idea of them. they are different, in my opinion rustic which is what i was looking for and also modern. one thing i noticed about the flatware set was that the teaspoon seems disproportionate in size to the whole set. it's really small compared even to the salad fork. my next thought was oh boy, i have to unpack all of these separate boxes of each set. do i really want to do that? i slept on it and decided to learn my lesson about not purchasing a "set of flatware" vs buying X number of sets of 5 pieces. the twist ties that hold each piece to the cardboard so that it ships safely are really really tight. so i first tried pliers and thought i'd tackle at night when i was watching tv. but it was too hard for my carpel tunnel. i had to go buy wire cutters the next day. the amount of waste, and recycling was outrageous. and all those little now cut twist ties are plastic and super harmful for not only the environment but also the critters and birds that end up trying to eat them all. regretting my choice 1/2 way into unpacking them i pressed on. here are pictures of my unpacking. and next i was eager to get them into dishwasher so we could use them right away. once the cycle was done i was bouncing into the kitchen to put them away in their new place. and gasssssp! they are all ruined. spots that don't come off. i raced back to wayfair to make sure it said dishwasher safe and it did. anyway here are photos i'm sad to have to share and do still b/c i don't want anyone to have a similar experience. i can't in good conscience replace them and try again. wayfair gave me a full refund but that didn't soothe my disappointment, frustration and i'm left having no idea what went wrong. attached photos to the flatware review.

Bought these for a party and I was beyond impressed when I received them. They are heavy, solid and beautiful. Lots of character without being “themed.” They are quality pieces!
