Lava Enameled Cast Iron Rectangular Roasting Pan 16 inch-with Beechwood Service Stand

Love it! I was surprised that it came with the little stand, which I love. It looks so nice in the center of the table with a chicken or roast. It doesn’t burn my table and it cooks perfectly. It was a dream to clean up afterwards as well. Definitely love it!!

The pan itself is well made, heavy cast iron and the perfect size. I ordered the orange and love the color. I ordered this because I like the idea of having the stand since it’s a great looking pan, I can serve straight from it. The issue is the quality of the stand. It just isn’t sturdy enough for the pan. In addition, the pan is not packaged well. As shown in the picture, there is no packaging material around the pan so this heavy cast iron thing banged all round in this box and on the wood stand. The stand is actually chipped and will definitely give you a splinter. I’ll keep it and just toss the stand I guess.

This is a well made pan. Very heavy like other enameled cast iron. The red is a very deep red color. The only negative is the stand. It is not made very sturdy, and it has an angle to it. When the pan is resting on it, it sits with one side higher than the other- the wood is not routed as deep on one of the end pieces. Other than that it is great. Honestly, I will probably never use the stand anyway though.
