I wanted a non toxic cookware set that would be similar to my old Revere Ware set. The Lynns pans are a medium weight and the set had the pot sizes I was looking as replacements for my Revere Ware pots. They also have the stay cool handles I wanted. I researched cooking sets for a long time before I decided on this set. The Lynns brand is almost a "sleeper" brand, in that many other name brand companies who make stainless steel cookware are so expensive, and this set is affordable. I am so pleased with this purchase. The pans exceeded my expectations of them. By the way, my kitty approved the new cookware set.

Just what I wanted. Thick bottoms prevent food from sticking and burning. Love the silicon handles! Two wishes: that the set included two smaller saucepans (two qt or something; I already had a three-qt one) and that holes in the handles were more oblong for my bamboo spoon handles to rest through.

So far so good! I have owned a set of Lynn's cookware purchased in 1997 and it's still going strong except the gold accents are a little lackluster from all of the use. That is why I purchased this set of Lynn's, knowing it's durability and versatile functionality. The original set and this one have been used on electric and gas cooktops, but now we have induction and this set is by far the best for induction....surprising given that the construction was originally not meant for this type of cooking. The only cookware that compares for fast induction heating is a Hestan Cue smart pan that came with the cooktop. The Hestan Cue is a little too heavy and way too expensive. This Lynn's set does it all and I hope that it lasts like the previous set. The pans in the previous set are still very sturdy with no tarnishing of the stainless steel (cleans up beautifully every time), just the gold accent handles are not as bright after 25 years of use. This new set also has glass lids for easy temperature monitoring (no surprise boil-overs) and coated handles for easy handling and no accidental burns from hot handles. I like this set's shape, more vertical lines on the sides which helps to fit more pots on the stove at once (previous set was the pretty pot-belly sides which is still more vertical than most sets today) and this is important if you are using all of your burners as we always are feeding a big family. Perhaps I can post an updated review in a year or two when I can speak to how well the pans hold up over time. I feel that Lynn's is a "sleeper" brand.... most folks haven't heard of them although they are durable and have a great price point with excellent cross-functional usage (electric gas AND induction). I'm a Lynn's fan! Thanks for this excellent, reasonably priced, versatile product!
