The coffee maker works fine, but my whole purpose for buying a new coffee maker was to get one with, at a minimum, a stainless steel r=reservoir and grounds basket. The specifications listing on this product for materials states it is stainless steel. Not stainless steel and plastic. Stainless steel. You can see just by looking that the outer casing is mostly plastic (or, possibly, painted or enameled stainless steel - though for this price I doubted that was the case), but I expected the interior water well and grounds basket to be stainless steel. HUGELY misrepresented product.

Love it, my only complaint would be the carafe doesn't have cup measures so it's a guess on how much water to add. Other than that makes a good cup of coffee and has a nice appearance with easy set up & operation..

Great simple coffee maker if you are not looking for one with gadgets just good drip coffee.
