For no reason at all - it has started pouring water all over the place if you fill it to the max line on the pot. You can only brew 8 cups at a time instead of the 12 cups it is designed for. I wish I could return it and get my money back and get something else that works as advertised.

Love the design and cool boiling water effects. Coffee tastes great too!

I have enjoyed it and the coffee tastes good. I've only had it for 4 months and the black is peeling back from the burner plate.

It was a gift but all reports have been good.

I love the design, but the carafe lid broke on the first use! I will be requesting the warranty coverage.
