These are nice and the pictures are accurate for the product. They have "ribs" on the back that are sort of weird. I could get used to that, but the ribs are very rough. It's like they weren't finished with the same process as the rest of the plate. They are so rough that they will scratch any surface they sit on. I'm going to keep them, but I am going to see if I can somehow file the ribs to make them smooth. (Can you file bone china??) Another idea I had to deal with the rough ribs is to run a hot glue gun over them, so there is a smooth layer.
