[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the Midwest 5 gallon can, I was met with a really sturdy/durable canister that can withstand a beating. Along side with the sturdy design, the canister had a really good spout that dispenses water or even any other liquid that you decide to put into the can. With such build, this canister could be used for multiple different occasions. Not only can this canister be used for emergency preparations, the can could be used for camping, roadtrips, and even parties. With a capacity of 5 gallons, it ensures that there is a supply of water that can last quite some time if used efficiently. The canister is also good for using it to fill water from wells! After testing the product for a few weeks; I was really satisfied in the canister and I will be using it for future water storage. I can tell that this will last us a long time, and it’s so much easier to store safe water than store-bought jugs. Since I have kids, it’s important to me that the plastic is BPA-free and non-toxic. The easy-pour spout is a plus because five gallons of water is heavy and the spout makes for a convenient pour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this item because we've been storing emergency water in 5 gallon "better bottles" for beer brewing, but this is much more convenient! The handles and spout are great for use. I will note that when it arrived this STANK of plastic, so we had to soak it in dish soap to eliminate that.
