These plates are not microwave friendly. They produce sparks. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until after the return window passed. I see one of them is starting to fade too after barely 3 months of use. The ones I purchased on the Mikasa website don’t have these issues. When I saw these on Wayfair at a lower price, I thought it was a good deal. Wasted money (

Absolutely gorgeous looking but very delicate

This is literally the prettiest set of dinnerware I have ever owned. It is holding up well in the dishwasher so far unlike my "dishwasher safe" Lenox that is losing the metallic paint. So happy to have a metallic that is dishwasher safe and makes this feel elegant every day.
