Mikasa Swirl 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service For 4

Mikasa never disappoints! I received my swirl 16 piece dinnerware set today and it's BEAUTIFUL . The color pops and I'm very happy with the design of the set. I can't say enough to express how happy I am with this purchase. I also purchase stemware from Mikasa. I am never disappointed with any purpose from Mikasa

These plates are beautiful. They are holding up well with everyday use. I put them in the dishwasher too.

I am very pleased with 60% of my purchase; however, I ordered 5 boxes of Swirl 16 piece Dinnerware Set For 4-Ombre Mocha and two of the boxes contained broken items- one salad plate and one bowl. I was told that Mikasa's policy was not to replace the items broken but rather refund the customer 25% of one box. I am to receive $56.00 on my MasterCard. If I chose to return this heavy item, I was expected to pay the shipping cost and in reordering this item had no assurance that it would be delivered in perfect condition. I now have an incomplete set of brand new dishes - not happy! I have been a fan of Mikasa for many years. My set of dishes that I was replacing were also Mikasa; however, I feel that this policy has penalized me, the customer, for negligence (broken dishes) that was not within my control. In the future, I would be very skeptical of ordering breakable items online. The Wayfair representative that I dealt with on the phone was pleasant and helpful. My dissatisfaction with this purchase was not her fault; however, I want my salad plate and bowl not the $56.00 and there seems to be no remedy for a problem I didn't't create! Donna I have since spoken to Mikasa and they informed me that the Wayfair representative was mistaken about their policy. Mikasa has now sent me a 4 place setting to replace the broken items. Wayfair please inform your representatives of Mikasa's policy so no further misunderstandings take place at the customers' expense.
