Nice honing steel for hard blade steels. Have a coarser finish than ceramic. Wish it will be in longer wersion

The Miyabi Tungsten steel is perfect for honing both Japanese and German cutlery. Extremely hard, high enough on the Rockwell to use on even the hardest steels. Nine inches in length, perfect for honing paring, utility, carving, and chef's knife. Frequent use will keep blades sharp, and also removes small niches and scratches.
